I haven’t been writing in this blog for such a long time, but it’s for a good reason: I have been very busy with the development and launch of Radio 23 FEEL THE FLOW, the new URBAN web radio streaming Italian and International HIP HOP, RAP, TRAP and R&B.
Anyway, I haven’t forgotten you listeners of Radio Roberto, which is a no-profit project I really care about. I have been regularly adding new song each week.
I take this opportunity to thank all the listeners who took the time to write me for congratulating about the music selection. There are listeners from all over the world and I want to thank you all!!!!!
Spread the word and help Radio Roberto grow. Enjoy the summer!
as you might have noticed, I haven’t been writing on Radio Roberto‘s Blog for nearly two months. The reason? I preferred to focus on adding new songs (released under Creative Commons & Copyleft) to my music archive.
As usual, I carefully listened to every song, before adding them to the playlist. I chose songs that I like, and I hope that my music taste meets yours. Enjoy!
I am happy to let you know that Radio Roberto has started to cooperate with La bél Netlabel, an independent label which releases under Creative Commons licences.
For more information, visit their website.
In the meantime, I want to say THANK YOU to Adriano of La bél Netlabel, who sent me his first playlist, titled “Sing A Song“, an eclectic selection of sophisticated sounds.
La bél Netlabel is partner of Radio Roberto
September is over, and it has been a very busy month for me. I have added many new songs to Radio Roberto’s rotation. So far, there are 542 tracks for a total time of 33 hours and 28 minutes of music.
I hope you will enjoy the music selection on Radio Roberto. Please let me know what you think, because I would like the station to become more “social” and cooperative, made not only by me, but also by the listeners.
Drop me a line with your suggestions. Email email@example.com
I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you very much,
The songs played on Radio Roberto are all Creative Commons, Free Music or Copyleft.
Free music is music that is not managed by performance rights organizations (PRS, ASCAP, SOCAN, BMI, BUMA, GEMA, SIAE, SGAE, JASRAC etc).
Artists choose to protect their rights through specific non-exclusive licenses such as Creative Commons. “Free music” or “Copyleft” doesn’t necessarily mean free of charge, or devoid of any rights restrictions, it means “some rights reserved“. Artists define what rights they grant on their music through their choice of license.
Creative Commons offers licenses that enable musicians to protect their rights. Easy to use and compatible with internet standards, these non-exclusive rights enable the holders to authorize certain uses of their music, while still retaining the option of reserving commercial exploitation.
